I gave up a full ride at my first university because upstate New York was definitely not for me. I moved down south for a semester, left, and took the better part of a year off to work and travel the world. I slept on (many) airport floors, parks in Dublin, and beaches in San Diego. I helped build self-driving cars in Palo Alto, hiked the Wasatch mountains in Utah, and won at a couple hackathons. Snuck into the Stanford dining halls every night because I couldn't afford food. Got flown out to San Francisco to demo my startup. Cried in the Smithsonian. Glass flowers at Harvard? Next year, I'll be in Seattle building satellites and LA building space rovers.
I don't know what I did to deserve this life 😱
In my free time I like to read about economics, sustainability, and classical music. In a not so distant world, I'm a pre-law musicology student trying to become a diplomat. So intriguing...
East of Dublin is a village called Howth
