I gave up a full ride at my first university because that school was definitely not for me. I moved down south for a semester, left, and took the better part of a year off to work and travel the world. I slept on (many) airport floors, parks in Dublin, and beaches in San Diego. I helped build self-driving cars, hiked the Wasatch mountains in Utah, and won at a hackathon. Got flown out to San Francisco to demo my startup for investors. Cried in the Smithsonian. Next year, I'll be in LA building space rovers for the Moon and Mars. 
There's a notion claiming novel experiences slow time. Sometimes I fear that I've exhausted much of that pool. I have the rest of my life to prove me wrong...
In my free time I like to read about economics, sustainability, and classical music. In a not so distant world, I'm a pre-law musicology student trying to become a diplomat. Sometimes I wonder about that
